Poziv na sudjelovanje na 4. međunarodnom znanstvenom skupu srednjovjekovne arheologije s temom Fortifikacije, obrambeni sustavi i strukture u prošlosti, kojeg Institut za arheologiju organizira u Zagrebu u razdoblju od 7. do 9. lipnja 2017. g., otvoren je do 15. veljače 2017.

SETTLEMENTS

The Call for participation at the 4th International Scientific Conference on Medieval Archaeology with the topic Fortifications, defence systems, structures and features in the past, which is organised by the Institute of Archaeology and will be held on 7th-9th June 2017, is open untill February 15th 2017.

Predstavljanje projekta

Od 31. siječnja do 2. veljače 2017. g. u Grazu je održano predstavljanje projekta Iron-Age-Danube u okviru programa Interreg Danube Transnational. Projekt, u kojem sudjeluje deset partnera iz pet podunavskih zemalja, obuhvaća monumentalne lokalitete i krajolike starijega željeznog doba u Srednjoj Europi. Institut za arheologiju kao partner sudjeluje u projektu arheološkim i interdisciplinarnim istrazivanjima svjetski poznatog lokaliteta u Jalžabetu. Voditelj projekta sa strane Instituta je dr. Saša Kovačević, viši znanstveni suradnik.

Project presentation

From 31st of January until 2nd of February the presentation of the Iron-Age-Danube project, active within the framework of the Interreg Danube Transnational programme, was held in Graz. The project, which includes the collaboration of ten partners from five countries of the Danube region, encompasses monumental sites and landscapes of the early Iron Age in Central Europe. The Institute of Archaeology collaborates as a project’s partner with archaeological and interdisciplinary research of the world renowned site at Jalžabet. The project’s leader on behalf of the Institute is Saša Kovačević, Ph. D., Senior Research Associate.

Noć muzeja 2017

KRAJOLICI

U okviru manifestacije Noć muzeja 2017, 27. siječnja 2017. g., Institut za arheologiju, u suradnji s vanjskim suradnicima Antiom Dugonjić i Pavlom Dugonjićem, a u sklopu aktivnosti projekta Arheološka topografija otoka Raba, sudjelovao je s programom u Samostanu sv. Bernardina sijenskog u Kamporu.
Tom je prigodom postavljen poster – legenda te je voditeljica projekta, Ana Konestra, održala kratko predavanje za širu javnost.

Night of Museums 2017

LANDSCAPES

The Institute of Archaeology, aided by external collaborators Anita Dugonjić and Pavle Dugonjić, participated in the manifestiation Night of Museum 2017 with a programme held at the St. Bernardin from Siena Monastery in Kampor (Rab island) on January 27th 2017. This activity, carried our within the project Archaeological topography of the island of Rab, included the placement of a poster – museum  display and a short lecture for the visitors held by Ana Konestra.
