U sklopu ISA Visiting fellowship Sveučilišta u Bologni, Ana Konestra održat će predavanje  o promjenama ruralnoga krajolika Istre tijekom kasnoantičkoga razdoblja, s posebnim osvrtom na istraživanja na lokalitetu Tar – Stancija Blek koja se provode suradnjom Instituta, Sveučilišta u Bologni i Zavičajnog muzeja poreštine.
As part of her ISA Visiting fellowship at the University of Bologna, Ana Konestra will present a lecture on the changes of the Istrian rural landscape during late Antiquity, having as starting point the research carried out at the site Tar – Stancija Blek  by the Institute in collaboration with the University of Bologna and the Poreč Heritage Museum.

Institut za arheologiju ima čast pozvati Vas na predavanje:

New reserch on ancient Trogir. A joint Croatian-Austrian mission

koje će se održati 4. ožujka 2019. u 11 sati u knjižnici Instituta za arheologiju, Ljudevita Gaja 32, Zagreb.

Tema predavanja biti će predstavljanje rezultata arheoloških istraživanja koja su se tijekom veljače 2019. godine odvijala u centru Trogira (Ulica Matije Gupca 15), s posebnim naglaskom na pronalazak groblja iz ranosrednjovjekovnog razdoblja, u sklopu projekta „Trogir Time Travel“ – znanstveno-istraživačkog projekta u suradnji Muzeja grada Trogira, Instituta za arheologiju u Zagrebu i Austrijskog arheološkog instituta Austrijske akademije za znanost.

Predavanje će održati Lujana Paraman (Muzej grada Trogira), dr. Marina Ugarković i dr. Martin Steskal (Austrijski arheološki Institut Austrijske akademije za znanost).

The Institute of Archaeology has the pleasure to invite you to the lecture:

New reserch on ancient Trogir. A joint Croatian-Austrian mission

which will be held on March 4th 2019 at 11AM, at the Institute’s Library, Ljudevita Gaja 32, Zagreb.

The lecture will present new results of the archaeological excavations conducted during February 2019 in the centre of the city of Trogir, with emphasis on the discovery of Early Medeival cementery, within the  frameworks of the ”Trogir Through Time project”, a joint international project of the Trogir Town Museum, Institute of Archaeology in Zagreb and Austrian Archaeological Institute of the Austrian Academy of Science.

The lecture will be held by Lujana Paraman (Trogir Town Museum), dr. Marina Ugarković and dr. Martin Steskal (Austrian Archaeological Institute of the Austrian Academy of Science)

Institut postaje partner na projektu Rijeka 2020 – Europska prijestolnica kulture, programski pravac 27 susjedstava – Otok Rab

Institute’s new partnership within the project Rijeka 2020 – European capital of culture, programme 27 Neighbourhoods – Rab island

Suradnjom Centra za kulturu Lopar, Pučkog otvorenog učilišta Rab, TZ Rab i Rijeka 2020 – Europska prijestolnica kulture osmišljen je projekt “Archaeological (t)races” koji se provodi unutar programskog pravca 27 susjedstava, a Institut za arheologiju uključit će se u projekt kroz istraživanja u sklopu projekta “Arheološka topografija otoka Rab”.
Tijekom 2019. godine planirana je provedba niza pripremnih aktivnosti usmjerenih sistematizaciji, valorizaciji i prezentaciji najznačajnijih segmenata arheološke baštine otoka te njihovog povezivanja putem pješačkih i biciklističkih staza, kako bi se stvorili preduvjeti za inovativne edukativne aktivnosti koje se planiraju kroz 2020. g. Projekt se provodi u suradnji s Heritage Malta.
Thanks to the collaboration between the Lopar Culture Centre, the Rab Open University, Rab Tourist board and Rijeka 2020 – European capital of culture the project “Archaeological (t)races” has been established and is being conducted within the programme 27 Neighbourhoods. The Institute of archaeology will join them through its research within the project “Archaeological topography of the island of Rab”.
During 2019 a series of preparatory activities aimed at the systematization, valorisation and presentation of the island’s archaeological heritage will be carried out, as well as the establishment of connecting cycling and walking paths, thus creating the bases for the innovative educational activities planned for 2020. The project is carried out in collaboration with Heritage Malta.

-Novelties from the Iron-Age-Danube Project“23rd  January, 2019

U sklopu programa Gradskog muzeja Varaždin „Srijeda u muzeju“, viši znanstveni suradnik Instituta za arheologiju dr.sc. Saša Kovačević, i voditelj Eu projekta „Iron-Age Danube“, održao je u srijedu 23. siječnja 2019. godine, u Gradskom muzeju Varaždin (palača Herzer), predavanje pod nazivom

ŽIVOT I SMRT ARISTOKRACIJE STARIJEGA ŽELJEZNOG DOBA – Novosti iz Iron-Age-Danube projekta.

Na predavanju su prezentirani rezultati projektnih aktivnosti Eu projekta akronima “Iron-Age-Danube“, koji se provodi u okviru Interreg Programa transnacionalne suradnje Dunav 2014. – 2020. i sufinancira iz fonda Europske unije (ERDF). Dr. Kovačević je također predstavio preliminarne rezultate zaštitnih arheoloških istraživanja grobnog humka „Gomila“ koji se nalazi u Arheološkoj zoni Jalžabet. Zaštitna arheološka istraživanja su se provodila od studenog 2017. do rujna 2018. godine, a u planu je i nastavak istraživanja.
Za navedeno predavanje organizirano u svrhu predstavljanja rezultata aktivnosti projekta „Iron-Age-Danube“, popularizaciju arheologije i predstavljanje razdoblja prapovijesti, starijeg željeznog doba široj javnosti, iskazalo je interes 62 sudionika.

Within the program of the Varaždin City Museum “Wednesday in the Museum”, senior research associate of the Institute of Archaeology Dr. Saša Kovačević, and also project leader of the “Iron Age Danube“ project, held in the Varaždin City Museum (Herzer Palace) a lecture titled

LIFE AND DEATH OF THE EARLY IRON AGE ARISTOCRACY-Novelities from the Iron-Age-Danube project,

on Wednesday, 23rd January 2019. At the lecture were presented achieved and planned results of the project activities of the “Iron- Age-Danube” project, Interreg DTP (DTP1-1-248-2.2), co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF). Dr. Kovačević also presented preliminary results of Rescue archaeological excavations of the burial mound (Tumulus) “Gomila” located in the Archaeological zone Jalžabet. Rescue archaeological excavations were conducted from November 2017 to September 2018, and the plan is to continue the research.
At the lecture organized for the general public with the purpose of presentation of the “Iron-Age-Danube“ project results, the popularization of Archaeology of the Early Iron Age and Prehistoric period, attended 62 participants.

Arhindoks Instituta za arheologiju organizirao je radionicu Rad s totalnom stanicom i obrada podataka u trajanju od dva dana. Tijekom radionice vježbali smo postavljanje stanice, snimanje te prebacivanje podataka kao i pokazali osnove crtanja u AutoCAD-u.
Radionica je održana 22. i 23. 01.2019.
