The 32nd congress of the Rei Cretariae Romanae Fautores

will be organized by the Department of Archaeology and the History of Art of the National & Kapodistrian University of Athens
and the Ephorate of Antiquities of Cyclades (Ministry of Culture and Sports),
in collaboration with various Greek and foreign institutions.

In this Congress the main theme will be

Linking Pots: Manufacturing and selling

Roman pottery in the Eastern Mediterranean

Deadline is December 15, 2019
Zagreb (Institute of archaeology) and Sisak (City museum Sisak) hosted an international roundtable on November 11-12, 2019, entitled “Roads and rivers, pots and potters in Pannonia”. Colleagues s from Austria, Slovenia, Serbia, Hungary and Croatia participated in the roundtable. Twelve presentations and four presentations of ceramic material were held. The participants could also see ceramic material from Vinkovci, Osječenica, Žuta Lokva and Sisak. The two days were spent in an extraordinary scientific and friendly atmosphere. This scientific meeting was oganized within activities of Life on the Roman Road project founded by Croatian science foundation.
