Dragi kolege!
Ljubazno Vas pozivamo na sudjelovanje u znanstvenom skupu pod nazivom Paleoradiology meets Archaeology.
Tijekom konferencije raspravljat ćemo o korištenju rengenskih zraka i naprednih medicinskih metoda slikovnog prikaza za analizu ljudskih i životinjskih kostura te bioloških materijala iz arheoloških nalazišta. Predavanjima će se obuhvatiti paleoradiološke studije provedene na mumijama i koštanim ostacima, dijagnostička paleoradiologija koja se korisiti za otkrivanje drevnih bolesti, te teme iz antropologije ljudske paleopatologije, zooarheologije te koštane radiologije.

We are kindly inviting you to take part in the scientific conference entitled Paleoradiology meets Archaeology.
During the conference we will discuss the use of X-rays and advanced medical imaging modalities to evaluate human and animal skeletons and biological materials from archaeological sites. Lectures dealing with paleoradiological studies performed on mummies and skeletal remains, diagnostic paleoradiology for the use of X-ray studies to detect ancient diseases, and topics in the fields of anthropology, human paleopathology, zooarchaeology and skeletal radiology.

Unutar radionice se izrađuju male replike posuđa (od glinamola) kako bi se uredio prostor unutar jedne rimske vile u kojoj stanuju drvene lutke. Uz to u prostorijama se kao inspiriracija koriste motivi iz rimskih mozaičkih podova te su slični načinjeni od papira. Drvene lutke u replikama kuhinje i dvije blagovaonice mogu uživati u prostoru uređenom samo za njih, djeca su postala keramičari i mozaičari. Sudjeluje OŠ Tin Ujević i Ženska opća gimnazija Družbe sestara milosrdnica.

Workshop where small replicas of the dishes are made (from modeling clay) to be arranged within the space of a Roman villa where wooden dolls live. Additionally, floors are made from paper, and inspired by motifs from Roman mosaic floors. Wooden dolls in replicas of a kitchen and two dining rooms can enjoy spaces decorated just for them, and children became potters and mosaic artists. Cooperation OŠ Tin Ujević and Ženska opća gimnazija Družbe sestara milosrdnica.

845°C Ad Turres
Arheološki muzej u Zagrebu
9. svibnja 2017. – 11. lipnja 2017.
Izložba 845°C Ad Turres, nakon dvogodišnjeg postava u Muzeju Grada Crikvenice, gostovat će u Arheološkom muzeju u Zagrebu. Izložbom se prikazuju rezultati istraživanja antičkog keramičarskog proizvodnog središta na prostoru Ad Turresa u Crikvenici (2006.–2014. g.) kao i pregled spoznaja o arheološkom krajoliku Vinodolske doline od prapovijesti do kasne antike.
Organizatori izložbe su Institut za arheologiju, Muzej grada Crikvenice i Arheološki muzej u Zagrebu. Uz autorice scenarija Goranku Lipovac Vrkljan (Institut za arheologiju) i Teu Rosić (Muzej Grada Crikvenice) izložbu su osmislili autori Ana Konestra, Ivana Ožanić Roguljić, Bartul Šiljeg iz Instituta za arheologiju te Paula Androić Gračanin, dok su na izradi tekstova surađivali brojni stručni suradnici.
Otvorenje izložbe bit će upriličeno 9. svibnja 2017. g. u Arheološkom muzeju u Zagrebu, a tijekom njezina trajanja bit će održana brojna predavanja i radionice.

845°C Ad Turres
Archaeological Museum in Zagreb
9th May 2017 – 11th June 2017
After two years at the Crikvenica Town Museum the exhibition 845°C Ad Turreswill be hosted by the Archaeological Museum in Zagreb. With this exhibition the results of systematic research (2006 – 2014) carried out within the Roman pottery workshop located in the area of Ad Turres in Crikvenica are presented, as well as an overview of the archaeological landscape of the Vinodol valley from Prehistory to Late Antiquity.
Organisers of the exhibition are the Institute of Archaeology, Crikvenica Town Museum and the Archaeological Museum in Zagreb. Along with scenario authors Goranka Lipovac Vrkljan (Institute of Archaeology) and Tea Rosić (Crikvenica Town Museum), Ana Konestra, Ivana Ožanić Roguljić and Bartul Šiljeg from the Institute of Archaeology, and Paula Androić Gračanin, collaborated as exhibition authors, while numerous colleagues collaborated as text’s authors.
The opening of the exhibition will be held on June 9th 2017 at the Archaeological Museum in Zagreb, while during its duration numerous lectures and workshops will be held.
