pu projekta RecRoad, arheologinja Sara Zanni pješke će prijeći cijelu približnu trasu rimske ceste koja se u antičko vrijeme protezala od Aquileije na sjeveroistoku Italije do Singidunuma (današnjeg Beograda), o čemu će na svom blogu pisati redovite izvještaje. Njezinim vlastitim riječima „kombinira nekonvencionalnu strast za arheologijom i duboku ljubav prema putovanjima, u stalnom otkrivanju svijeta i same sebe. Od puteva ju odvajaju samo njezine cipele“.

 

Talijanska arheologinja pješači starom rimskom cestom 725 km, u ponedjeljak staje u Zagrebu

U sklopu projekta RecRoad, talijanska arheologinja Sara Zanni pješke će prijeći cijelu trasu rimske ceste koja se u antičko vrijeme protezala od Aquileije na sjeveroistoku Italije do Singidunuma (današnjeg Beograda), o čemu će na svom blogu pisati redovite izvještaje. Jedno od stajališta će joj biti i Arheološki muzej u Zagrebu gdje će u ponedjeljak, 11. rujna u 19 sati održati predavanje na engleskom jeziku pod nazivom: Following the paths of the Roman travelers from Aquileia to Singidunum: the RecRoad project kojim će predstaviti svoj zanimljivi poduhvat.

Projekt RecRoad ima za cilj rekonstrukciju rimske ceste koja ide od Aquileije, na sjeveroistoku Italije, do Singidunuma (današnjeg Beograda), na Dunavu. Bila je to jedna od glavnih cestovnih osovina Rimskog Carstva koja je spajala venecijansko područje s Gornjom Panonijom i dunavskim limesom. Cesta je dulja od 450 milja (725km), te je prolazila kroz Alpe i dalje pratila rijeku Savu. Cilj ovog projekta je precizna rekonstrukcija trase ove rimske ceste kroz Gornju Panoniju i analiza posljedica koje je izgradnja te prometnice imala na kulturni sadržaj krajolika kroz koji je prolazila, kao i bolje razumijevanje teritorijalnih i kulturnih veza.

Sara Zanni školovala se na prestižnim talijanskim sveučilištima, a dobitnica je i stipendije Marie Skłodowska-Curie 2015.g kada je započela projekt „RecRoad“ na AUSONIUS institutu Sveučilišta Bordeaux Montaigne  1. veljače 2016. s prof. Francisom Tassauxom. Prema njezinim vlastitim riječima „kombinira nekonvencionalnu strast za arheologijom i duboku ljubav prema putovanjima, u stalnom otkrivanju svijeta i same sebe. Od puteva ju odvajaju samo njezine cipele“.

Payment for conference are estimated around 100 Euros (including coffee breaks, lunches and meeting materials) and field trip will be probably about 300 Euros (including transportation, accommodation, breakfast, lunches and dinners). For final costs and fees please refer to the first circular in Spring 2017. Financial support by INQUA for PhD students, Early Career Researchers and low DGP countries will be probably available.
